Pheasants Forever: The
Habitat Organization
We at the Upland
Chapter of Pheasants Forever (UCPF) would like to thank you for considering
becoming a Pheasants Forever sponsor. We realize there are many
organizations you may choose to support, and would like to take this
opportunity to explain the many benefits of PF sponsorship. The
Pheasants Forever organization is dedicated to the conservation of wildlife
and habitat through improvement, public awareness, education, and land
management policies and programs.
Unlike most other
wildlife conservation programs and many other charities, 100%
of your generous donation remains in the local chapter. In the
last year our chapter has used its funds to:
- Plant food plots
on public land
- Restore native prairie
grasses
- Mentored and assisted
with the Learn To Hunt program
- Sponsored a Youth
Trap Shoot
- Exhibited at the
Sporting Heritage Youth Day
- Adopt-A-Highway
- Funded a State Youth
Coordinator Position
- Habitat Seed Sale
- Supported High School
Shooting Clubs
Pheasants Forever
is a nonprofit organization so not only does your donation stay local,
it is tax deductible up to the maximum allowed by law.
You may choose
to donate to UCPF at whatever level you prefer. The most common
options are a $500 Grand Sponsor and a $250 Chapter Sponsor. As
a Grand Sponsor you will receive four tickets to our annual fundraising
banquet, two Pheasants Forever memberships, two tickets to the sponsor
only raffle drawing, advertising on the chapter website, and advertising
in the banquet program. Chapter Sponsors receive two banquet tickets,
one PF membership, one raffle ticket, advertising on the chapter website,
and advertising in the banquet program. If you do not wish to
receive your tickets your generous donation will help promote habitat
restoration for all wildlife. We would, however, love to see you
and your friends at our banquet.
Again, thank you
for considering supporting the Upland Chapter of Pheasants Forever.

There Are Several Benefits Of Being a
UCPF Member
The
one main benefit is knowing that the dollars you are spending are being
converted into habitat development, insuring that future generations
can enjoy the outdoors the same way you do now!
You will be able
to visually see how your dollars and volunteer work are impacting
wildlife in your own community.
By
being a member you will meet people who have the same motivations and
interests in mind. Your voice will be heard as all members are
encouraged to attend monthly meetings and vote on habitat projects.
By
volunteering to help on hands in the field, you will learn different
techniques of developing wildlife habitat. You will have a chance to
become involved with spring pheasant crowing rooster counts and
controlled grassland burns.
National
Benefits
When
you become a PF member you will receive the subscription to the PF
